Charge a no-show fee

Charge a no-show fee if the scheduler doesn't show up to a call

I like this/ possible alternative idea: I also run a coaching business. This is certainly an interesting idea. I feel like if i ran adds to this it would tank my conversion rate. However, the appointments I did have would no doubt be higher quality. This might be a neat way to free up some of my time (take fewer calls) and still close sales at the same rate. Possible alternative: If there was a way to have people put down a refundable deposit that they get back after the call it might accomplish the same thing without charging for it. Maybe an hourly rate wouldn't work but even $5 - $10 might make a HUGE difference with no shows. If you're getting an 80% SUR and this takes it to 95% it would be way worth it and it wouldn't cost prospects anything to take a call with you if they're on the fence.

Interesting idea! What kind of calls have you wanted to do this for? I would imagine there are a lot of contexts where this would not really fly. The more detail the better!

Derrick Reimer I would use this for coaching or consulting calls. If someone booked 1 hour of my time to connect about a project they're working on and are stuck on, I'd want to be able to charge them for my hourly rate if they don't make it to the meeting and don't reschedule. (because it would waste my time)

Derrick Reimer For reference, I like the way Cal does it: https://cal.com/blog/cal-com-s-held-payments-a-useful-tool-f…
