When host confirmation is activated, send notification only after host decision

It makes no sense to send a notification if host-side validation is pending. I understand the idea of confirming to the guest that they have made a reservation, but I think that a simple confirmation pop-up at the end of the reservation does the trick. Sending an email as long as the appointment has not been confirmed seems to me to be a waste and a clutter in the mailbox.

Oh interesting! We generally favor creating the papertrail here, especially to avoid a scheduler waiting for confirmation wondering if their request even made it though the system. Have you heard specific complains about the notification email?

Derrick Reimer Yes, this has caused some confusion for some users. The problem here is that the emails are written in English, and my customers are French and don't read English very well. They are therefore quickly swamped with several automatic emails, which are added to workflows.

Derrick Reimer I'm still seeing this issue! I don't think meeting requests should trigger an email. A pop-up or confirmation message would be enough.
