"Book again" functionality for events
Travis Austin
During a call, I often schedule a follow up with the same people. I find it cumbersome to copy/paste the meeting name, phone, email, and invitees from the first meeting to the new follow-up meeting.
I request a new feature: allow users to book a new meeting with the same attendees and form fields as an existing meeting. Ideally, these will be populated into the new meeting form allowing any changes or adjustments before booking the second meeting.

Hi Derrick. Thanks for the response!
I am using the Book an Event button to schedule my follow-ups. That and the expanded contacts are great steps toward a smoother "follow up booking" workflow, but there's still a gap.
When my customers schedule a call with me, they enter data in a few custom fields (company name, purpose of call) and they typically invite a handful of others to the meeting. When I schedule a follow-up call, I can currently book the time and choose the existing contact, but then I have to copy/paste custom field data (company name), schedule the meeting, then add invites for each additional guest.
What I
want
is to click an existing appointment, click "Copy", and have that pre-populate the "Book an Event" screen with the details of the previous event pre-filled and ready to go (including custom fields and co-invitees). I can then pick the new date/time and quickly book the follow-up event without opening the previous event in a different window and copy/pasting data between the two.Derrick Reimer
Travis Austin: Great feedback, thank you 🙏

Thanks for this! We have our new "Book an event" interface for creating events on behalf of schedulers (https://changelog.savvycal.com/book-meetings-on-behalf-of-others-327324) and we just shipped expanded contacts, which includes being able to select a contact (which now includes anyone you've met with in the past). Check it out and let us know what you think!
