When rescheduling a meeting — whether initiated by the host or the invitee — the calendar currently opens in a non-sliding weekly view anchored to the current calendar week. This means the original booking date is often not visible, and the user has to navigate to find a relevant time window.
Expected behavior:
The rescheduling calendar should open in a sliding 7-day view centered on the date of the original booking, so the context of the reschedule is immediately visible and nearby slots are easy to pick.
Current behavior:
The calendar opens on the current calendar week in a fixed (non-sliding) weekly view, regardless of when the original booking was scheduled.
Use case:
When rescheduling, the natural reference point is the original booking date, not today. A sliding 7-day view centered on that date gives the user immediate context and reduces navigation overhead.
