Just checking in as this would be a fantastic feature to have. Don't yet see it on the Roadmap. Any kind of timeline exist for this? With thanks for an awesome scheduler that plays well with Apple's Calendar.

LCR: No concrete plans at the moment, but still gathering insights! If you could share about your specific use case here (the more the better!), that would be super helpful! There's a decent amount of complexity to contend with here (see thread with Jake Wysocki below).

Derrick Reimer thanks for the super fast response. I am a leadership coach and coaching supervisor. My clients meet with me anywhere from weekly to monthly. So I'd love if clients could schedule a meeting, say every Monday from 10-11am, or on the 3rd Monday of every month from 10-11am. Then, if they have to move any individual meeting, they could reschedule just that individual meeting to any other available time.

This feels like it can get real complicated real fast, but I would love this!
I am a coach and would love to have this ability. The MAIN functionality I can think of is allowing them to rebook a calendar invite easily that is part of a series if they have a conflict.
Even better if they could have the ability to either reschedule a meeting, say for another time that week, or skip and have another recurring instance appear on the back end of the series.

Jake Wysocki: I've been a little afraid of the complexity with this one, if I'm honest! :) But I can definitely see the value. Would you want to only show slots where you (as the organizer) are available at that exact day/time for the next N weeks?

Derrick Reimer Totally get it!
If I understand correctly, the primary problem your suggestion might solve is finding a time to get a recurring series on the calendar. This would definitely be nice (but not my main concern, see below). For an MVP, I would think implementing it as you suggest would be the right choice and address the majority of use cases.
I might want more flexibility in the future, like exact day/time every X weeks for the next N instances (so if I only meet every other week, I can do that, with a set number of meetings).
Another thing I would consider if the MVP works is to allow some slots showing as available even if you have up to Y conflicts, because with recurring some conflicts are often inevitable, like a vacation or some other non-repeating event.
You are not wrong to be concerned about complexity!
As for my primary pain point, I moved all that here: https://feedback.savvycal.com/feature-requests/p/allow-clients-to-reschedule-instances-of-a-recurring-meeting-series
(Allow clients to reschedule instance of a recurring meeting series)
Cheers, and keep up the good work!

So... in retrospect, I suppose what I am asking in my second half (primary pain point), is actually a different feature request :) Let me know if you want me to make another entry, happy to do so!

Jake Wysocki: No worries! Probably just as well to keep it here for the moment, since it's related to recurrence.
